Campaign Aims to Spread Spiritual and Cultural Unity
A grand press conference regarding the “Ashwamedh Dharma Dhwaj Yatra” was organised at Hotel Arif Castle in Hazratganj, Lucknow. Saints, devotees, youths and social workers participated enthusiastically in the programme. The main objective of the campaign is to spread the message of religious awakening, cultural unity and nation-building across the country.
Speaking at the event, Shivashri Ritu described the yatra as a divine mission representing Hari-Hara unity and Sanatan values. She said that Lord Shiva’s blessings played an important role in the victory of Lord Shri Ram, and this spiritual message would be carried throughout the nation through the yatra. She added that the initiative would help connect the younger generation with Indian culture and heritage.
Special guests at the programme included Pujya Janmejaya Sharan Ji Maharaj from Ayodhya and Acharya Dr. Santosh Ji Maharaj. Addressing the gathering, Janmejaya Sharan Ji said that Sanatan Dharma is not just a form of worship but the foundation of human life. He announced that the “Ashwamedh Dharma Dhwaj Yatra” would begin on October 20 on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami.
The journey will be completed in four phases and will cover nearly 11,800 kilometres across different parts of India. The yatra will travel through various cities by foot, road and train. Religious yajnas and spiritual programmes will also be organised at different locations during the campaign.
Several speakers including Amarjeet Mishra, Ved Prakash, Chakravartula Ramanacha and film director Dushyant Pratap Singh shared their views during the event. They said the campaign would inspire youth towards spirituality, positivity and cultural pride. Vinod Handa from Thailand also extended his best wishes for the success of the mission.
