f Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) inaugurated the APM 2025 – Advancement in Petrochemical Sector & Empowering Sustainable Development Leading to ‘Viksit Bharat’ today at Hotel Holiday Inn, Lucknow. This three-day international conference serves as a key platform for discussions on petrochemical advancements, circular economy, bio-based polymers, and sustainability. The inauguration witnessed a participation of 300 attendees.

In a virtual address, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda emphasized the importance of petrochemicals in India’s industrial and sustainability growth, stating:

“The integration of innovation and sustainability is crucial for the petrochemical sector. APM 2025 fosters an ecosystem that encourages breakthrough technologies in circular economy, biopolymers, and recycling innovations.”

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between CIPET and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya University, Vadodara, Gujarat, to advance research, training, and industry-driven education in petrochemical and polymer sciences.

Additionally, a high-level panel discussion on “Sustainability Challenges for Viksit Bharat 2047” will be moderated by Shri Deepak Mishra (Joint Secretary, Dept. of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Govt. of India).
