“Become a Corporate Expert in 4 Years: ICSI Highlights Massive Demand & Affordable CS Course Structure”

At a press conference in Lucknow, Institute of Company Secretaries of India President Pawan G. Chandak emphasized the rising demand for Company Secretaries (CS), noting a shortage of over 100,000 professionals in the field. He highlighted that the course offers strong career prospects at a relatively low cost.
The CS program consists of three stages—CSEET, Executive, and Professional—with a total estimated cost between ₹50,000 and ₹70,000 over four years. This includes study materials, faculty support, and both online and offline classes. Each exam carries an additional fee of ₹1,500.
Former Chairman Abhishek Sinha stated that students from any stream can enroll after completing Class 12, and with consistent preparation, the course can be cleared effectively. Lucknow Chapter Chairman Mohit Chandra Sharma added that flexible learning options ensure accessibility for students across regions.
The seminar also highlighted the importance of corporate governance in ensuring organizational stability and credibility. Central Council Members Manoj Purohit and Dhananjay Shukla also shared their insights, encouraging youth to explore this promising career path.
With over 20,000 students currently pursuing CS in Uttar Pradesh, the course is rapidly gaining traction as a cost-effective and prestigious career option offering direct engagement at the board level.
