Social Awareness Conference to Honor Community Leaders
‘Shikhar Samman’ Awards to Recognize Excellence

A grand commemorative event will be held in Lucknow on March 15, 2026, to mark the death anniversary of noted social reformer and former Rajya Sabha MP Shivdayal Singh Chaurasia. The program is being organized by the Bharatiya Chaurasia Mahasabha and will take place at the Vishveshwaraiya Auditorium PWD Guest House, located opposite Raj Bhavan on M.G. Road.
The event will feature the “Shivdayal Chaurasia Shikhar Samman Ceremony” along with a Social Awareness Conference, where distinguished personalities from various fields will be honored for their contributions to society, education and community leadership.
The program will be presided over by Vijay Chaurasia, National President of the Bharatiya Chaurasia Mahasabha and National President of the Apna Dal (S) Youth Forum. The event will also be guided by chief patron Rajendra Banarasi.
The patron panel includes several prominent public representatives and social leaders such as former MLA Rameshwar Chaurasia, MLA Sanjeev Chaurasia, MLA Surendra Chaurasia, and MLA Alok Chaurasia, along with many other members of the community.
Organizers have invited social activists, intellectuals and members of the community from across the region to attend the event. They emphasized that the program will not only pay tribute to Shivdayal Singh Chaurasia but will also serve as a platform to discuss social awareness, unity and community development.
Event coordinators Paras Nath Chaurasia and Ravindra Chaurasia stated that several individuals who have made outstanding contributions in social service will be honored with the prestigious “Shikhar Samman.”
The organizers highlighted that the life and legacy of Shivdayal Singh Chaurasia remain a symbol of social justice, public service and community organization. The conference aims to carry forward his vision and inspire people to work collectively for social progress.
