Led by ARTO (Enforcement/Administration) Hariom, the अभियान targeted traffic violations and illegal roadside parking across key routes in the district.

The primary focus of the campaign was to curb unsafe practices such as vehicles parked improperly along roadsides, which significantly increase the risk of accidents and disrupt smooth traffic flow. Authorities also cracked down on violations including riding without helmets, driving without seat belts, using mobile phones while driving, and driving on the wrong side of the road.

During the drive, a total of 98 vehicles were challaned, sending a strong message to habitual offenders. Officials emphasized that roadside parking in unauthorized areas is a major cause of road mishaps and must be strictly avoided.

Residents welcomed the move, stating that illegal parking and careless driving had been persistent issues in the area. The crackdown is expected to improve traffic conditions and reduce accident risks.

This strict action reflects the administration’s commitment to enforcing road safety norms and ensuring that violations do not go unchecked. Authorities reiterated that compliance with traffic rules is essential for the safety of all road users.
