The 29th Pre Uttar Pradesh State Shooting Championship, held at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar International Stadium in Ayodhya, witnessed remarkable performances from shooters across the state. Among them, Ayodhya’s RTO officer Ritu Singh stood out by clinching the gold medal, once again bringing pride to the district with her exceptional marksmanship.

Ritu Singh’s achievement highlights her dedication and excellence, proving that professional responsibilities and sporting success can go hand in hand. Her precise shooting skills and strong focus helped her outperform tough competition and secure the top position in the championship.
On this occasion, UP State Rifle Association General Secretary G. S. Singh honored her with the gold medal and presented a memento. The event was graced by the presence of Association President Shyam Yadav, SP Rural Arun Kumar, Balwant Singh, PCS officer Abhishek Singh, and Praveen Yadav, along with other distinguished guests, who extended their congratulations and best wishes.
The championship saw participation from a large number of shooters across different categories from various districts of Uttar Pradesh, making it a highly competitive and prestigious event. Notably, Ritu Singh has previously excelled at the national level as well. She won both gold and silver medals at the National Masters Games held in Goa, further establishing her as a consistent performer in shooting sports.
