Rita Bhargava Takes Charge as President for 2026–27

: Marking another milestone in its long tradition of community service, the Rotary Club of Lucknow West celebrated its 57th Installation Ceremony in a dignified event held at Casa Hotel, Aishbagh. The ceremony witnessed the formal installation of Rotarian Rita Bhargava as the Club President for the Rotary year 2026–27, ushering in a new chapter of leadership and social commitment.
New Executive Team Sworn In
Along with the President, the newly elected executive committee took the oath of office, pledging to uphold Rotary’s ideals of service and ethical leadership. Rotarian Kalpana Aarti assumed office as Secretary, Rotarian Pradeep became Public Image Chair, while Rotarian Rahul Bhargava took over the responsibilities of President-Elect, reinforcing the club’s leadership structure for the coming year.
‘Create Lasting Impact’ Sets the Vision
Chief Guest and District Governor, Rotary International District 3120, Rotarian Poonam Gulati, congratulated the new leadership and emphasized that Rotary’s mission extends beyond service projects to creating sustainable and meaningful change in society. She urged members to translate the Rotary International theme “Create Lasting Impact” into visible action across communities.
Focus on Sustainable Community Development
The installation ceremony brought together senior Rotarians, office-bearers from various Rotary clubs, social leaders and distinguished guests. Discussions centred on expanding service initiatives in education, healthcare, environmental conservation, women’s empowerment and community development, reaffirming Rotary’s commitment to long-term public welfare.
Leadership with a Purpose
In her inaugural address, President Rita Bhargava reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening Rotary’s service mission by focusing on impactful projects benefiting underprivileged communities. She called upon every member to work with unity, compassion and dedication, stressing that Rotary’s true identity lies not merely in organising events but in transforming lives through meaningful and sustainable service.
