In a high-octane political address at the party headquarters, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav launched a blistering attack on the ruling BJP, accusing it of ruining Uttar Pradesh through corruption and failed economic policies. Addressing a massive gathering of party workers, Yadav claimed that the BJP’s countdown has begun and the public is ready to unleash a “bulldozer of votes” to kick them out of power in the upcoming 2027 assembly elections.
The former Chief Minister did not mince words as he targeted the government over skyrocketing inflation, fuel prices, and the fertilizer crisis. “The BJP government has looted common citizens by installing faulty smart meters. Farmers are desperate for urea, and the youth are wandering aimlessly for jobs. This is a government of cheaters,” Akhilesh alleged, adding that health, education, and law and order have completely collapsed in the state.
Taking a dig at the ruling party’s anxiety, Yadav stated that the BJP is absolutely terrified of the ‘PDA’ (Picchda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) coalition and is constantly plotting against innocent citizens. However, he asserted that the PDA has now decoded the BJP’s conspiracies and will bring an end to their unjust rule.
Highlighting the achievements of his previous tenure, Akhilesh noted that the Samajwadi government developed the world-class Agra-Lucknow Expressway on the lines of American infrastructure to connect villages and districts. “The corrupt BJP government halted all development,” he said. Striking a chord with the voters, he announced big poll promises for 2027, including free education for female students from KG to PG and clearing farmers’ sugarcane dues within 24 hours. The political roaring at the state office was witnessed by top leaders, including MP Harendra Malik, State President Shyam Lal Pal, and chief spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary.
