Grand Religious Series Dedicated to Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s Martyrdom Starts in Lucknow

A spiritually uplifting series of Shri Sukhmani Sahib Path dedicated to the sacred martyrdom of Sahib Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj has commenced at Gurudwara Alambagh, Lucknow. Around 100 women devotees participated with immense devotion and enthusiasm, creating a divine atmosphere filled with Gurbani and prayers.
The religious event will continue from May 6 to June 14, 2026. Daily recitations of Shri Sukhmani Sahib will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM, while special Sunday prayers will take place from 5:30 AM to 7 AM. Devotees from across the city are expected to join the spiritual gathering in large numbers.
As part of the series, a special Shaheedi Kirtan Samagam will also be organized on June 13 and June 14. Renowned Raagi Bhai Sahib Bhai Amritpal Singh Ji from Amritsar will perform Gurbani Kirtan during the event and bless the sangat with soulful hymns.
Guru Ka Langar will be served daily with the cooperation of devotees and volunteers. The organizing committee has appealed to the sangat to actively participate in seva and spiritual activities.
Media in-charge Surjeet Kaur stated that the event aims to spread Guru Sahib’s message of humanity, sacrifice, and devotion among people.
