Akhilesh Yadav Launches Sharp Attack on BJP Over Ayodhya and Governance
Pooja Srivastava | Anytime News Network
Samajwadi Party President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav launched a strong political attack on the BJP, alleging that the reported controversy surrounding offerings at the Ayodhya Ram Temple has hurt the faith of millions of devotees.
Calls for Transparent Probe
Akhilesh claimed that the alleged incident is not merely about money but about public trust and religious sentiments. He demanded a transparent and impartial investigation so that the truth can be established.
Questions Over SIT Investigation
The SP chief alleged that instead of allowing central agencies to investigate, the state government constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT), raising questions, according to him, about the independence of the inquiry.
Corruption and Governance Under Fire
Akhilesh also accused the BJP government of widespread corruption and administrative failure. He alleged that farmers are struggling to obtain fertilizers, crop prices remain unsatisfactory, and middlemen continue to exploit agricultural markets.
Health, Development and China
The former Chief Minister further claimed that Uttar Pradesh’s healthcare infrastructure has deteriorated and asserted that many of Lucknow’s landmark infrastructure projects were initiated during the Samajwadi Party government. He also criticized the Centre over the reported Chinese encroachment issue in Arunachal Pradesh and questioned its response.
Preparing for Upcoming Elections
Highlighting the party’s organizational strategy, Akhilesh announced an expanded membership drive and preparations for upcoming teachers’ and graduates’ constituency elections, expressing confidence that the Samajwadi Party would challenge the BJP strongly in the next Assembly elections.
