Poets and Scholars Celebrate Legacy, ‘We Were One, We Are One’ Resonates

A heartfelt tribute seminar was organized in Pratapgarh on the 42nd death anniversary of renowned poet Nazish Pratapgarhi, bringing together eminent poets, writers, and intellectuals to celebrate his legacy.
The event was graced by Aditya Prajapati as the Chief Guest, while Omkar Rana and Dr. Dayaram Maurya ‘Ratan’ attended as patrons. Mohammad Anam presided over the program.
Among the distinguished guests were Seema Bharti (SDM Judicial, Lalganj) and Katiyar Ji (SDM, Collectorate), while Lokesh Shukla added prestige as the Guest of Honour.
The seminar began with a powerful rendition of Nazish Pratapgarhi’s iconic unity song, “Hum Ek The, Hum Ek Hain, Hum Ek Rahenge,” presented by Lokesh Shukla, which deeply resonated with the audience.
Organized by Mohammad Anees, the event also featured the launch of his ghazal collection “Mere Alfaaz: A Bouquet of Ghazals.” He was honored with the “Sahitya Gaurav Samman” by the literary organization Srijana.
In his address, Aditya Prajapati highlighted that Nazish’s writings continue to inspire unity and brotherhood. Seema Bharti emphasized the importance of such seminars in promoting social harmony in today’s times.
Several noted literary figures, including Dr. Shahida, Sunil Prabhakar, Nagendra Anuj, Ravi Khandelwal, Geeta Yadav, and Salman Khurshid, were present. The event was skillfully anchored by Rahbar Pratapgarhi.
