Varsha Singhania elected Vice President for 2026-27
15-member Executive Committee constituted; Abhishek Singhania named Patron

The 94th Annual General Meeting of the Merchants Chamber of Uttar Pradesh was held on Monday at the Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania Auditorium, marking the constitution of a new leadership team for the 2026-27 term. Mayank Khanna was unanimously elected President, while Varsha Singhania was elected Vice President.
15-member executive team
The meeting also saw the formation of a 15-member Executive Committee. The committee comprises Ajay Kumar Saraogi, Akash Goenka, Anil Kumar Agrawal, Anurag Lohia, Ashish Singh Chauhan, Dr. J.N. Gupta, Partho Pratim Kar, Prem Manohar Gupta, R.K. Agrawal, Rohit Agrawal, Sandeep Gupta, Tarun Garg, Shyam Mehrotra, Sushil Sharma and Vijay Kumar Pandey.
A new leadership commitment
Addressing the gathering after his election, newly elected President Mayank Khanna said he would work with full commitment to take the Chamber to new heights. He also acknowledged the contribution of former presidents, noting that their vision, experience and long-standing efforts had helped build and strengthen the institution over the decades.
Khanna said the guidance and experience of the Chamber’s former presidents would remain valuable for the new leadership as it takes forward the institution’s work.
Abhishek Singhania named Patron
Dr. I.M. Rohtagi extended his blessings and best wishes to the newly elected President, Vice President and members of the Governing Council. Members of the Chamber also unanimously appointed Abhishek Singhania as Patron.
Chamber website relaunched
Another key highlight of the meeting was the relaunch of the Chamber’s official website. The website was formally relaunched jointly by Abhishek Singhania and Mayank Khanna.
The Annual General Meeting was conducted by Sushil Sharma, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Vijay Pandey.
Several prominent members and guests attended the programme, including Atul Kanodia, Mukul Tandon, B.K. Lahoti, Dr. Awadh Dubey, Dharmendra Srivastava, Santosh Gupta, Ishwar Singh Verma, Geeta Gupta, Tikam Chand Sethia, Shivansh Mehra, Dr. Rajesh Mehra, Vishwanath Gupta, Umesh Pandey, Subhash Gangwar and Yogesh Dubey.
