“15,000+ LHB Coaches Milestone: Modern Coach Factory Boosts Rail-Industry Collaboration”

The Modern Coach Factory Rae Bareli (MCF), Rae Bareli, is actively participating in the national-level industrial exhibition INCOMEX-2026, showcasing India’s railway innovations and manufacturing excellence. Organized by the Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Hubballi, the event is being held from April 25 to 29, 2026.
At the exhibition, MCF has set up an engaging stall highlighting advanced Vande Bharat coaches, LHB coach manufacturing processes, production capabilities, and cutting-edge technologies. Since its inception, the factory has produced over 15,000 LHB coaches, significantly contributing to the modernization of Indian Railways with enhanced speed, safety, and passenger comfort.
A key focus of the event is the Railway Vendor Development Pavilion, where industries—especially MSMEs—are being introduced to the Indian Railways E-Procurement System platform, enabling them to explore new business opportunities and strengthen partnerships with the railway sector.
The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, former Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Bommai, and Karnataka Minister Santosh S. Lad, along with industry leaders.
Officials from MCF, including PRO Anil Kumar Srivastava and technical team members, are actively engaging with visitors and stakeholders, presenting the latest advancements in railway manufacturing.
The participation of MCF at INCOMEX-2026 is expected to strengthen industry collaboration and further boost the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
